THE MUSIC
Everything you hear comes straight out of a one-bedroom apartment in Salt Lake City. No studio, no suits, no outside labels. Just a black cat supervisor named Lasagna who likes to sleep on the job. We write, record, and produce it all ourselves so the sound is raw, messy, and real. Just us having a good time and making something that helps us feel alive.
We’re not chasing perfect. We’re chasing that energy that makes you feel like you’re in the room singing along with us. But we won’t be caught dead fake-playing outside in a park to promote it.
THE BAND
Charcoal Lemonade is just the two of us for now (Remy & Sarah), built on years of history, crazy ideas, and an unhealthy amount of creative energy. We started playing together in high school and are doing our best to carry it on through our adult days.
Sarah’s the voice, Remy’s the guitar and production, and together we somehow make it work in a tiny apartment that’s half home, half studio. No formula, just a lot of caffeine and late nights trying not to rack up noise complaints. And making sure our cat doesn't knock over all our equipment.
THE SHOWS
We want to show up, make some noise, and have a good time doing it. Every show is high energy and full of life, a chance to throw ourselves into the music and invite everyone to do the same. No matter who you are, who you love, or where you came from, you’re welcome here.
Come out, grab a drink, and head bang with us. It’s all about making friends and keeping the scene alive in our city.
